Kenan and his family miraculously escaped the horror of the genocide when they received a medical evacuation to Oman. They are safe from harm but life as a refugee far from the country you love can be difficult. Kenan has been experiencing bullying at school but his sweet parents are unable to afford to move him to a better school so Kenan and I worked together on this design for the kids of the rest of the world to wear in solidarity and to help raise funds for the fees he needs to move schools and begin to step into a happier future
